The American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress®
is a multidisciplinary network
of professionals who are committed to the
advancement of intervention for survivors
of trauma. The Academy aims to
identify expertise among professionals, across disciplines,
and provide
meaningful standards for those who work regularly with survivors.
The
Academy's Traumatic Stress Library and publications provide practical
information
for survivors of traumatic events and those who care for them.

knowledge of the psychological impact
of traumatic events. Professionals all
hold faculty positions with Columbia
University and offer compassionate,
expert care at no cost to the client.
